All of our pups have gone to their new homes and we are not expecting more until at least summer 2021.
And just like that, we have come to our final Sunday with these pups. They are 7 and a half weeks old, and head to the vet tomorrow for their exams and vacines. Tomorrow is also the day that our family selects the pup that we will keep, and all the other female puppy families will hear from me to find out which one will be theirs.
Six weeks old means it’s time to get serious about all kinds of grown up things like weaning, car rides, manding and making friends with the vacume. They are weighing in at around 7 – 9 lbs, around the size of a newborn baby.
Today we ran an errand and six pups got to come. We also played in the puppy arena, AKA an empty swimming pool. They’re also getting playtime in the yard one daily basis. So many fun things to do!
The pups have really been busy lately, playing hard and exploring every place they can get. I try to make their enclosures a little different each day. If the weather’s not too hot they spend most of the day outside and are learning to master the step on our deck.
Aren’t the pups looking all grown up?
I’ve been getting lots of inquiries about puppies lately, so I’d like to let you know that all puppies in this litter have homes and we have a waiting list. We are not expecting more for two years.
Here are the pups at three weeks old. All are doing great, getting very active and growing like crazy!
