I’ve been getting lots of inquiries about puppies lately, so I’d like to let you know that all puppies in this litter have homes and we have a waiting list. We are not expecting more for two years. Thanks for stopping by my site.
There’s been lots going these days. Eyes opening, stronger movements, first dose of deworming treatment and moved some of the bigger pups into the larger collars.
Notice how the pups are trying out their little voices and getting up one legs. Any day now we expect eyes and ears to open.
The pups are eating voraciously and growing fast. Macy is eating about twice as much as normal to keep up. I’ve had to loosen a few collars already and clipped nails.
We have also begun Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which promotes stress tolerance and physical benefits. Read more about it here: https://www.goldenmeadowsretrievers.com/early-neurological-stimulation/
Now you know.
The pups are looking great at one day old. I was concerned that Macy would not be able to provide for all of them, but so far so good! Grow puppies, grow!
Welcome candy litter! 4 boys – Rollo (black), Reece (orange), Hershey (brown), and Henry (green) and 7!!! girls – Pixie (pink), KitKat (red), Skittle (purple), Dot (lime), Twix (yellow), Snickers (teal) and Taffy (purple). All pups look healthy. Mom is doing fine. Macy decided to have them in the corner of my bedroom instead of the whelping box.
We’re excited to announce that we’re expecting puppies! This is Macy’s third and final litter. Expected due date: May 13th.
The other day we got most of our puppies together for a family reunion. Riley and Macy were there, along with 13 of their puppies and several dog siblings. People and pooches came from as far as Reno, Berkeley and Redding!
It was wonderful to watch the dogs play together, while the humans got to know each other and compared notes. There is a little variety in color and size, but each of our dogs have the sweet golden personality.
We enjoyed a potluck lunch at the dog park and snapped a few pictures. It’s not easy to corral that many dogs and try to get them to look towards the camera. We might need a professional dog wrangler for the next reunion.
