Hi puppy friends.
We’re less than two weeks away from whelping day and Macy’s looking pretty, what shall I say…. rotund. She’s still active at times, but has been resting more and more these days. And I’m happy to report, I’ve been feeling some squirming!
The puppy count xray is scheduled for Tuesday the 20th. Probably no one wants to know how many more than me, so I am really looking forward to that day.
Macy may not be nesting yet, but I feel like I am. I’ve been busy getting my supplies organized and preparing my paperwork. We’ll be ready when these pups make their appearance!
She looks so exhausted. What an amazing story behind the scenes of all that is done up to and including birthing and whelping. There is so much that you do as a breeder that I was unaware of. Thank you again, Daniela Bellizzi for introducing me to “gandjgoldens.com”! I am so excited about Grace and Joy because they make it so absolutely informative with their constantly updated growth progression with pictures on a regular basis. I have tried to keep up by researching every word in this process. Most interesting to me is whelping. Although I have always known the word I have never known the actual definition of the word and the detailed description. It makes me understand how much work it takes to be the breeder during the birthing process. Thank you once again to Grace and Joy Goldens for all that you do for the new parents! You are awesome!
